LIFE re-WINTER – Recycling ski gear for a sustainable winter sports industry.

LIFE re-WINTER is an EU-funded project introducing an industrial-scale circular model for ski equipment. Coordinated by Dalbello, with partners Marker, Völkl, Plasticsort, Innovando, DIWORKS, and RE SPORT, the project will collect 10,000 end-of-life skis, boots, and bindings from rental networks and transform them into new high-performance gear. The approach combines advanced recycling technologies to recover and reuse materials from complex multi-material products, preventing landfill and incineration. Recovered resources will be reintegrated into production to manufacture 1,000 new pairs of skis, boots, and bindings, proving that circularity can meet performance standards.

Co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or CINEA. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
