Silver medal for Tobi Müller at the Ski Cross World Championships

March 21, 2025

What an exhilarating final at the Men's Ski Cross World Championships! The race was filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.

Japan’s Ryo Sugai faced a heartbreaking crash moments after the start due to a timing error. Shortly after, it seemed like the challenge from Germany’s Tobias Mueller had ended when he left the course. This turn of events allowed Switzerland's Ryan Regez to glide smoothly to victory, with France’s Youri Duplessis Kergomard crossing the finish line in second place. However, the drama didn't end there. The jury ruled that Duplessis Kergomard had impeded Tobias Mueller, resulting in a yellow card for the Frenchman. Consequently, Mueller was awarded the silver medal. Congratulations to Tobias Mueller on his silver medal! We are incredibly proud to have you on the team.
